Beth Adkisson Fleming, M.S., CCC-SLP
Executive & Clinical Director, Speech-Language Pathologist
About Me
Beth’s love for working with the special needs population developed at a very young age. As early as the seventh grade, she began volunteering in the Autism/TEACH classroom at her middle school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Beth went on to receive her Bachelor of Science from N.C. State University in Communication Disorders and graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Beth has extensive experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis/Verbal Behavior Therapy and has a special interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also enjoys working with children with Severe/Profound Developmental Delays, articulation/phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, language disorders, fluency disorders, and a wide variety of developmental disabilities. She is trained in Beckman Oral Motor, Talk Tools, LAMP therapy approaches and is Level 1 PROMPT trained.
Beth has experience working with the public school system, serving preschool and school-aged children in both school and community based settings prior to entering in private outpatient therapy in 2010. Whereas her passion truly lies with working hands-on with the kiddos, she enjoys the challenge of managing a private practice and continues to learn all she can to help lead Chatterbox in the direction to help children reach their fullest potential.
She lives in Thunderbolt, GA with her husband, son, and daughter. They have a Vizla pup named Hank and two cats- Bo and Dexter. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether it be traveling, going out on the boat, Georgia Southern football games in the Fall or just hanging out in the backyard when the weather is nice.
