What is Cranial Helmet Remolding?

Cranial helmet remolding is a non-invasive therapeutic intervention used to correct abnormal head shapes in infants. It involves the use of a custom-fitted cranial orthosis (helmet) to gently guide the growth of the infant’s skull into a more symmetrical shape.

  1. Plagiocephaly: Flattening on one side of the head.
  2. Brachycephaly: Widening or flattening of the back of the head.

When to Seek Treatment
