Sierra is passionate about helping children of all ages reach their highest potential! She utilizes an individualized therapy approach for every child, striving to address the primary needs of the child and concerns of caregivers, while making therapy fun for all.
From caretaking to therapy, Sierra has worked with children with autism spectrum disorders for 15 years. Sierra is level 1 PROMPT trained, trained in the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), safety-care trained, trained in Beckman Oral Motor, proficient in basic sign language, and maintains her certificate of clinical competence (CCC) with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is licensed in the states of Georgia and Florida. While Sierra enjoys treating a variety of speech and language needs, she has special interests in childhood apraxia of speech and feeding/oral function disorders.
Sierra graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in communication science and disorders and received her master’s degree from Valdosta State University. Sierra is from Florida and is equally in love with the beach and the mountains! She enjoys being outdoors with her husband, traveling to anywhere a plane can go, snuggling “Baby Kitty,” her black bob-tailed cat, and spending time with her friends and family.
