Nora comes to Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy most recently from Charlotte and Monroe, North Carolina and was previously from Mobile, Alabama. Nora graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. She has been an occupational therapist for 27 years and has worked in all areas of pediatric practice including: NICU, acute care, early intervention, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, medical clinic, private practice, schools, and teletherapy. She has worked with a large variety of clients with various diagnoses including: ADD/ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Down syndrome, Feeding Disorder, Learning Disability, Sensory Integrative Disorder/sensory processing challenges, and more. She has had specialty training in the areas of assistive technology, feeding, sensory integration, seating and positioning, and therapeutic listening. Nora has developed an eclectic treatment approach based on her years of experience and as a result has assisted her clients to demonstrate progress in all areas.
