“Kimber” graduated with her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. She maintains her board certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed in the state of Georgia. She has recently moved to the Savannah area with her husband, Greg and is the proud mother of four children.
Kimber has 25 years of extensive experience in pediatric therapy treating children ages 0-21 years. She specializes in the treatment of feeding and oral motor skills for children on the Autism spectrum to g-tube dependent. She has experience in working with children who have a variety of diagnosis including but not limited to autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, and a wide variety of developmental disabilities. She has worked in the clinic setting, hospital, school system, early intervention, home health, as a student instructor and a consultant in a variety of community settings. She provides therapeutic intervention through an eclectic approach to address, feeding and oral motor disorders, sensory integrative disorders, developmental milestones, fine/gross motor delays, functional daily living skills, visual motor/perceptual delays, adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs. Her priority in all treatment is effective communication and training of the primary caregivers and working as a team to reach the utmost potential of the child.
