Kelsey graduated from Harding University in Searcy, AR with her Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Kelsey developed her passion for helping children communicate through working at an elementary school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder after graduating with her Bachelors. She also wanted to give back to the community of differently-abled individuals like other specialists had helped her when she was younger. That passion has continued to grow over the years as she has had the blessing of watching children grow and learn to advocate for themselves. She has experience working with diverse cultural populations from spending time interning and living in New Zealand. Since then, she’s helped children with an array of diagnoses, circumstances, and backgrounds from birth to 25 years old in school and private practice settings. One, day Kelsey hopes to specialize in ASD and AAC.
Every day, Kelsey’s love for speech pathology increases as she helps every child feel heard and have a voice. She’s excited to be part of the Chatterbox team because she enjoys the feeling of community and family. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys hiking, playing with her three cats, and traveling.
