Kayla is a Savannah native who attended Georgia Southern University, first to obtain her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and then moving on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has experience in orthopedic and neurological settings from her time in graduate school, however, her favorite experience by far was working with the kiddos here at Chatterbox during one of her final clinical rotations. Her absolute favorite thing is watching a child’s eyes light up when they accomplish something they and their families have been working so hard for. She believes that therapy must be a team effort made by the children, their families, and their therapists for a child to reach their full potential, and she loves being a part of that team. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family; playing with her Springer Spaniel puppy, Chipper; attending Atlanta Braves and Savannah Bananas games, spending time on or near the water, and yelling “Hail Southern” at any Georgia Southern sporting events.
