Katie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, GA. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in Norcross, GA. Katie currently maintains her board certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed in the state of Georgia.
Katie enjoys working with children of a variety of ages and diagnoses. Her clinical experiences include a focus on sensory integration, early intervention, and outpatient adult and pediatric rehabilitation. Katie was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to gain clinical experience as an OT while working for 3 months in Yucatán, Mexico. This cultural and unique experience helped to provide her with a well-rounded approach for evaluating and implementing interventions. Katie enjoys working as a team with the physical therapists, speech therapists, and other occupational therapists to ensure the best care possible for each child.
