Kate graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders. She completed her Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Georgia Southern University. Before obtaining her Masters degree, Kate worked in the public school system serving children from PreK-12 grade with a variety of disorders.
Kate’s clinical experience includes a focus on language delays, articulation disorders, vision and/or hearing impairments, pragmatic language disorders, phonological processing, augmentative/alternative communication methods, and autism spectrum disorders.
Kate is passionate about helping children communicate and interact with their environments and enjoys collaborating with families to provide ideas for home practice. Kate strives for creative and fun therapy sessions. Kate is originally from Tupelo, MS but has found Savannah to be her home. She loves walking her dog around downtown, going to the beach, and traveling to new places.
