Candace graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Candace worked as an ABA therapist/ RBT serving a variety of ages in the Autism population. Candace has previous experience assessing and treating pediatrics and adults with a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in both the hospital and private practice settings. Candace’s passion for becoming a speech-language pathologist began when she was younger and went through speech therapy herself, and also when she saw her great grandmother receive speech therapy after a stroke. She is a native to Bluffton, SC where she resides with her two German shepherds, Koda and Moose. In her spare time, Candace enjoys traveling, going to the beach or on the boat, and loves spending time with her family and friends.
