Brittany graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA with her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Brittany developed her passion for helping people communicate in an outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation center in Savannah while still in high school. A few years later, that passion continued to grow when she was able to spend a semester as an intern in that center. She also spent time interning in an acute TBI clinic, elementary, and middle school. Brittany completed graduate research in the areas of traumatic brain injuries and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
She spent the beginning of her career as a speech therapist in a childhood development center in southwest Wyoming. She then moved to
Fort Collins, Colorado and began working in a private practice with primarily children before returning home to Savannah. Brittany’s love
for speech pathology increases with every client, but she is particularly interested in working with children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Down’s Syndrome. In her free time, Brittany enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and traveling with her husband and their two dogs.
